What I Want Now: Pastel/Colored Pants

Pastel/Colored pants are a HUGE trend right now, and with good reason. In a sea of blue jeans, colored pants stand out--in a good way. My favorite are the pastel colored pants. No matter the color--pink, blue, yellow--the styling possibilities are endless. You can pair them with a similar pastel color palette or basically whatever you want, and they're incredibly versatile. You can wear them to work, on a casual weekend out or dress them up or down. One thing I do know is that pastel is the new neutral.

This has got to be my favorite designer collaboration. I love every piece of this collection, and would wear every look. There's nothing in this collection that I don't genuinely love, and I'm not surprised since Jason Wu is my favorite designer. Below are some of my favorite pieces/looks.

Pre-Fall 2012: Jenni Kayne and Dsquared²

I love everything about these two collections; the colors, the cuts, the classic shapes and the menswear inspired style of the designs. Jenni Kayne never ceases to amaze me, and Dsquared² did just the same.

DKNY Pre-Fall 2012

Well, hello there! I haven't posted in a looong while so I thought, for my first post back, it would be perfect to do a pre-fall collection post! So far, my favorite collection is DKNY. Lately, I've been so impressed and amazed by DKNYs creations. I just absolutely love every single piece from this collection, and if you can hear me Santa, this is what I want for Christmas :)

Marni for H&M

H&M has had an amazing couple of years: Lanvin, Versace and now Marni is the latest to collaborate with them. The collection is set to debut March 8, 2012. I love Marni's aesthetic, use of color and prints so I am beyond excited to see the entire collection.

Rachel Bilson in NYLON

Rachel Bilson, my all time favorite celebrity fashionista, graces the cover of Nylon's November issue. No matter how many times she's on the cover of NYLON or any magazine, her style will never get old to me. I just love the DKNY jacket and jeweled blouse she's wearing on the cover.
