What I Want Now: Pastel/Colored Pants

Pastel/Colored pants are a HUGE trend right now, and with good reason. In a sea of blue jeans, colored pants stand out--in a good way. My favorite are the pastel colored pants. No matter the color--pink, blue, yellow--the styling possibilities are endless. You can pair them with a similar pastel color palette or basically whatever you want, and they're incredibly versatile. You can wear them to work, on a casual weekend out or dress them up or down. One thing I do know is that pastel is the new neutral.

Trend I'm Loving: Neon

I didn't want to bore you all by posting yet another Resort collection, (although it was tempting seeing that I loved Band of Outsiders perfectly preppy, boyish looks with a hint of femininity), so I thought I'd get semi-creative and showcase a re-occuring trend that I saw among some collections. And if you read the title above you'll know that trend is NEON.

Now, I've never been a fan of neon. In fact, I don't think I even own any neon clothes but for some reason my eyes are loving these vivid, bright, bold colors and I can't get enough.

Loafers: Love or Hate?

So, I came across this picture of The Tiz (aka: Ashley Tisdale) and it only solidified my idea to write a post about loafers. Yes, loafers.
I completely understand if you find yourself muttering "eww, loafers." I get why some people wouldn't like these shoes especially if you're not a fan of the whole menswear look (which I totally am) and that's OK.

Now, I'm not a fan of all loafers but I'm pretty much in love with the Christian Louboutin Rollerball Loafers Ms. Tiz is wearing (click here for a close-up look).


I've also been lusting over these Dolce Vita Marcela Loafers. I would so wear these with a floral print sundress, skinnies or shorts.

I wanted to incorporate outfit ideas/inspirations on my blog, so I decided to start a new category aptly titled 'outfit idea.' The first is one of Spring's biggest trends: bright hues. I first saw these photos in the April issue of Lucky and I loved how perfectly these outfits were styled.

Spring Nail Polish Trends
