Blake Lively Goes Red

Blake Lively...you can't escape her. She's on the cover of magazines, in ads, on television--she's everywhere (and now on my blog)! And it just so happens that this former blonde is now a redhead. She debuted her new cooper tresses at the Time 100 gala in NY.

Loafers: Love or Hate?

So, I came across this picture of The Tiz (aka: Ashley Tisdale) and it only solidified my idea to write a post about loafers. Yes, loafers.
I completely understand if you find yourself muttering "eww, loafers." I get why some people wouldn't like these shoes especially if you're not a fan of the whole menswear look (which I totally am) and that's OK.

Now, I'm not a fan of all loafers but I'm pretty much in love with the Christian Louboutin Rollerball Loafers Ms. Tiz is wearing (click here for a close-up look).


I've also been lusting over these Dolce Vita Marcela Loafers. I would so wear these with a floral print sundress, skinnies or shorts.

Lauren Conrad launches beauty site

Everybody's favorite reality TV personality (was that too bold of a statement?) launched a beauty site called The Beauty Department. The site is a collaboration between Lauren, her makeup artist and hairstylist.


The site is broken down into five categories: beauty and hair tutorials, inspirations, obsessions and 'this or that.'

Inside Khloe Kardashian's Closet (aka: Shoe Heaven)

Khloe Kardashian--you either love her or hate her, but there's no denying that she has an incredible closet/shoe collection. I'm not gonna lie, I watch the Kardashian's reality shows (all four of them). Is it because I sincerely care about what's happening in the lives of the Kardashian clan? No. It's because I'm a reality TV addict and it just so happens to be my guilty pleasure.

A note to Khloe: if you ever feel the need to donate your entire shoe collection for whatever reason, I'll gladly take them even if they're a couple sizes too big.

It's no secret that I'm in love with Kate Bosworth's style. Anything she wears, I love. You could say I'm a bit biased when it comes to her choice of outfits, but what can I say? The girl has serious style, and I completely adore the Isabel Marant Forbes boots she rocks 24/7. I need them in my life.

Marissa Webb, J Crew's head of women's design, said the collection was inspired entirely by the two iconic fashion films. "You have the whimsy and playfulness of Daisy and the structured menswear of Bonnie," says Webb. "The mixing of the two elements is the perfect J. Crew fantasy."
