Trend I'm Not Loving: Flatform Shoes
Usually, I write about trends/outfits I'm loving, but I thought I'd change it up a bit and write a post about a trend I'm NOT loving. Now, there's not too many trends I hate. In fact, I think this is the only one that deserved an entire post dedicated to it. You might be familiar with it--the FLATFORM.
I mean, don't get me wrong I like wedges and some platforms but the flatform, that's a whole other ugly story. Maybe I'm not a fan of them because it's a trend that resurfaced from the 90's (70's as well) that I'm very familiar with. I'm not gonna lie--I rocked white canvas flatform shoes in elementary school and I loved them, but c'mon now, an adult wearing these shoes does NOT look right. Leave these shoes to the kids.
Are you a fan of the flatform? What trend are you not loving?

Outfit I'm Loving: Natalie from 'Natalie Off Duty'
Usually I feature a celebrity for this type of post but today I'm featuring a fashion blogger. Some of you might follow her blog called Natalie off Duty. If you read Glamour (US), you might recognize her from the Young and Posh Blogger Network.
This is a great look to transition from Fall to Spring because even though it's officially Spring it's not warm enough (in most places) to wear shorts and cute dresses. The great thing about this outfit is it's easy to replicate and one that you could probably find in your own closet.

Pop Up Make-Up
Loving these makeup looks from Elle France. While some of these looks are not wearable for everyday, there's no denying you'd have fun experimenting with them. My favorite is the bright pink and orange cheeks.

Wren Spring Lookbook
If I could wear only one collection this Spring, it would be Wren. It has every single thing you could possibly need/wear for Spring and I just so happen to love every piece.

Outfit Idea: Bright Hues
I wanted to incorporate outfit ideas/inspirations on my blog, so I decided to start a new category aptly titled 'outfit idea.' The first is one of Spring's biggest trends: bright hues. I first saw these photos in the April issue of Lucky and I loved how perfectly these outfits were styled.

Rachel Zoe named Hollywood's most powerful stylist
Rachel Zoe is on this month's cover of The Hollywood Reporter and was named the number one stylist in Hollywood (among 25 others).
Interview higlights:
On fame: “I never wanted to be famous,” Zoe, who grew up in Short Hills, N.J., later declares.
On success: “I’ve never been driven by money; I’m driven by the path,” she says. “And fear. The scariest thing I’ve ever done in my life was start a collection.
On her collection: “My mission was to create wonderfully tailored, luxurious clothes — classic suits, tux jackets and faux fur — where they give off the feeling of luxury without having to pay for it."
On being a stylist: “A stylist is a behind-the-scenes job,” she says. “I’m never a star when I’m with a star — ever. Back then, I was very insecure about that. Even now, if you watch me on a red carpet, I’m physically uncomfortable. I can’t strike a good pose to save my life."
Her purpose: “to merge the worlds of Hollywood and fashion. … Because I felt that there was this huge disconnect,” she says. “I didn’t understand why the most glamorous place in the world wasn’t using the most glamorous clothes.”

Elie Saab F/W 11
Paris Fashion Week has officially come to an end, but I had to do one last post on my favorite collection from the last group of shows.
My heart melted for Elie Saab's collection specifically the gowns. They are just so gorgeous. I could stare at them all day.
