Leighton Meester on L'Officiel Lithuania

Leighton Meester is on the March cover of French fashion magazine, L'Officiel. Check out the spread below.

Givenchy F/W 11

Givenchy's fall collection theme was panthers and orchids. Panther prints were seen on every piece; on the hemlines of satin pencil skirts, sweatshirts, jackets, the list goes on. The panther prints were sprinkled with tiny purple orchids or embossed with flower wreaths. This isn't necessarily my style but I do think it's a fun collection and I like the transparency of some of the pieces as well as the flippy skirts and pencil skirts. What do you think of Givenchy's panther prints?

Martin Grant F/W 11

Before today I had never heard of designer Martin Grant, but after I looked at his collection I fell in love. His designs are simple yet elegant. I love how Grant combines his minimalistic looks with rich colors and pops of bright color.

Isabel Marant F/W 11

Isabel Marant is one of my favorite designers, but I wasn't exactly liking her new collection. What I usually love about her collection is the mix of somewhat edgy and girly pieces/fabric (lurex, lamé) but this collection was lacking the more feminine elements. The one item that Marant brought back from previous collections was the iconic fringe boot from seasons past except this time around they were over-the-knee. This collection had a "Wild West" feel to it with denim and patchwork-button downs, feathers, fringe and Navajo prints. Below are some of the looks I liked (denim patchwork looks excluded).

Paris Fashion Week/Nina Ricci F/W 11

Paris Fashion Week is three days in and I am so excited to see so many of the collections. One of my favorite designers will be showing her collection tomorrow, Isabel Marant. Christian Dior and Lanvin will also be showing their collections tomorrow. I also can't wait to see Sonia Rykiel, Chloe, Vanessa Bruno, Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Elie Saab...(the list goes on). Expect to see an overload of pictures from some of these collection within this week and next.

Some of the collections that have caught my eye so far is Balmain, Barbara Bui and Nina Ricci. I wasn't loving Nina Ricci's entire collection, but I was liking the lighter colors (blues and pinks) and the jewel-toned greens in the collection as opposed to the burgundy and velvet looks. Below are some the looks I liked:
