Tops under $12!

I don't know about you but I'm always on the look out for a cute top whenever I go shopping. As some people say "you can never have enough shoes," my saying is you can never have enough tops. It's true. You wear them everyday and everywhere, and the best thing about buying a new top is when you find one that is cute and doesn't put a dent in your wallet. eFoxcity has just that--cute and incredibly inexpensive tops (I'm talking better prices than Forever 21 and H&M)! Pink, Orange & Green

If you can't already tell, I love infusing some color or in this case colors to my outfit. I don't know about you, but when I wear or see bright colors if instantly puts me in a happier mood. On a side note,  I recently bought these flats from Old Navy at 40% and they just scream summer.

Outfit I'm Loving: Camo

I've never been a fan of camo. Ever. Never have I ever thought of buying something camo, but I came across this image on Pinterest and absolutely loved the way she added camo to her outfit. In my eyes, this is how you do camo the right way. It's a nice, subtle touch, and something I would definitely wear. Afterall, I do love Duck Dynasty and this could be my homage to them ;)

Chevron + Chambray

Every since my brother bought me these shorts (just because, isn't he nice?)I've been wearing them non stop! I love chevron and chevron shorts for summer is even better. And what better way to pair them with than a chambray top? P.S. - I snagged these soft gold boat shoes from Target for only $10! How great is that?

Tropical Prints

Never in my life have I ever thought: I need something that's tropical print in my closet. Ever. But ever since I saw these tropical print pants on Urban Outfitters' site (and this picture on Pinterest) I wanted to have them. Now, I don't know if it's the warm weather or the upcoming summer season, but I've found myself liking other 'tropical' items. Below are a few items that have caught my eye.

Rose Necklace + Chevron

After patiently waiting for weeks, I finally got my beaded rose necklace from BrinaBox and it is beautiful! I had an interview this morning and wore this outfit without the necklace because it hadn't arrived at my home 'til after my interview, but it was like a nice little post-interview gift just waiting for me at home.

Shop of the Week: SoCo Vintage

I thought I would start a new "topic" on my blog called 'Shop of the Week' where I feature a shop/online store/boutique, etc. along with some items I like from the store. Outfit Inspiration: Denim & Lace

I saw this outfit on Pinterest and automatically fell in love with the look of denim and lace paired together. I just love how feminine, romantic and casual these two pieces look combined; not to mention, it's a great spring/summer outfit and super easy to put together. I'll definitely be trying out this outfit. All I need is the lace skirt and I'm set.

I've been noticing a micro trend when it comes to handbags: bright colorful stripes. It's no secret that I'm a sucker for anything striped, and bold stripes are just the perfect accessory for summer.

Love or Hate? Crop tops

Crop tops: you either love them or hate them. The verdict is still out on whether I like or dislike this trend, but I do know that I much rather prefer the look of a more structured, dressed up crop top rather than a casual one.

Ever since I saw this pink blazer on Kendie Everday I have been craving a pink blazer, and just about anything pink. Pink is the one color that's missing in my closet so I thought I'd shop around and find some pink additions for my closet.

Outfit Inspiration: Stripes

As we all know, two BIG trends this Spring are stripes and black and white, so why not mix the two together? I came across this striped suit on Pinterest and I absolutely fell in love with it. I love how tailored and crisp this look is, while still being youthful and appropriate for Spring. Not knowing where the look was from, I recreated it myself but I have to say nothing beats the original especially that skirt.

Anchors + Bows

I've been obsessed with chambray ever since I bought my first chambray top from Gap two years ago, so I was, of course, loving this anchor print chambray top that I came across at Old Navy. I love anchor prints for summer so I just had to make this top mine. One tip: if you do plan to purchase this chambray top, I would suggest sizing down. I got a medium (size I always get) and it was a bit roomy/loose but I don't mind that because you can always knot it.

Look for Less: Kate Spade & Bauble Bar

As I was browsing through Dorothy Perkins purse collection I came across this striped tote and immediately thought: Kate Spade. This bag looks very similar to the Kate Spade Bon Shopper Cambridge tote (which is no longer available on the site). I've also been seeing this Bauble Bar Pave Tab Strand necklace all across blogs, and recently stumbled across a similar version at Forever 21 for less than half the price.
