New Year, New Specs

As  I was searching for a pair of prescription eyeglasses, I kid you not, the lovely people at GlassesUSA contacted me and asked if I wanted to review a pair of their glasses and, of course, I said YES! GlassesUSA.com has something for everyone and every style AND it's incredibly affordable (you can find glasses starting at  just $38)! You can shop for eyeglasses by frame shape, size, color, material, and style.

If you're into the vintage/nerdy glasses trend, they have that but if you're more into a classic  pair they also have that. GlassesUSA also carry designer eyeglasses ranging from Ray Ban to Tom Ford to Coach. I ended up going with the Reece Jakob 6004 in black. I liked that they were classic yet bold. If you're a bit iffy to buy eyeglasses online, the site has a very convenient and helpful "virtual mirror" where you can upload your picture and try on as many pairs as you'd like.

Glasses USA is offering:
-10% off any pair of glasses with the code Blog10
-and their most current discount codes can be found here: sales and coupons.
They also offer:
-110% lowest price guarantee and 100% satisfaction guarantee
- A generous refer-a-friend program (get $30 for each first purchase a referred friend makes)
- A Facebook page and Twitter with exclusive discounts for fans

Prabal Gurung x Target

The entire lookbook for Prabal Gurung x Target collection is out and, like I wrote about in this post, it is nothing short of amazing. I'm in love with the bright colors, prints and that this collection is so versatile. Although most of the pieces are bold and perfect for Spring, there are also looks that can be worn to a semi-formal event. And the best part, you can mix and match the pieces. Below are some of my favorite looks:

dress: $39.99

sweater: $29.99

shorts: $29.99

dress: $49.99 (my favorite piece)

cardigan: $32.99

flats: $29.99

bangles: $16.99

necklace: $39.99

Navy + Green

I promise you this blazer is actually navy and not black. I was on the lookout for a navy blazer for sometime as it is a staple of my "work wear." My only other navy blazer was completely worn out from all its use and had to go, but thankfully I found this blazer on SALE at Nordstrom Rack for only $9 (it was originally $62...what a bargain, right?)! Not only was this blazer incredibly inexpensive BUT it is also incredibly comfortable and this is no exaggeration. It literally feels like I'm not even wearing a blazer and that makes it a true winner.

Blazer: Nordstrom Rack, striped shirt: Old Navy, pants: H&M, flats: Old Navy, bracelets: Banana Republic Factory Store

Gucci Pre-Fall 2013

Among all the Pre-Fall 2013 collections, Gucci was by far my favorite. I just love the way all the looks are sleek, tailored and polished, and the use of tartan plaid and the wide buckle belts. I also love the rich green, blue and red hues in the collection. I can't wait to see what Fall fashion has in store (NYFW begins February). Here are a few of my favorite looks below:
